Exception on Windows when quitting profile manager

Describe the bug
When running the profile manager in the taskbar under windows, if you try to quit it crashes with the following message:

A similar thing happens if you try to shut down the with the profile manager in the background, windows complains about a program that won't quit and if you cancel shutdown you can see this message:

The log at %APPDATA%/DisplayCAL-apply-profiles.log isn't much help in this case.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Have the profile manager running in the background with a profile applied (haven't tried without)
2. Try to quit / shut down the computer
3. See error

Expected behavior
The program quits cleanly / Windows shuts down without being held up by the program

Versions:

• OS: Windows (Installer version)
• Python Version: Installer bundled (3.11.9 with wxPython 4.2.1, wxWidgets 3.2.2.1 and pyglet 2.0.17)
• ArgyllCMS Version: 3.3.0
• DisplayCAL Version: 3.9.14

Thank you for reporting, I've too seen this error message, I'll look into this before the next release, which should be soon.
