I painstakingly compiled Entangled V1.x from Haskell :-), and after coming back after a while found this V2 Python project.

Is the rationale for the programming language switch documented somewhere?

Hi, thanks for reaching out. I indeed should add a message to the original Entangled readme about this. I was trying to find funding for developing Entangled further and questions were raised about the long term maintainability of the project. Switching to Python makes it easier to install for most people, and the pool of Python developers is greater. Still didn't get the funding though, so I'm stuck developing this in my spare time. :(
