Right now there is bunch of copy pasted code and its hard to read.

Maybe we can utilize some gql library, or test the resolvers directly.

Moreover the "setup" functions need some love

This looks feasible https://github.com/hasura/go-graphql-client

We dont want library that is using generation, as we want assert the query shape in tests, to maintain BC.
