It would be nice to have graphic interface sometime in the future, although I know there is no clear solution to this problem now, so maybe just keep this issue open until there is a light, cross-platform solution in the future.

I'm very slowly working on a long-term solution using Electron, the groundwork for which is being laid at emk/subtitles-rs. But it's likely to take a few years to become what I want it to be at this rate.

Hello! I've split this issue into #30, #31 and #32, each of which covers a specific aspect of the GUI, so I can work on it slowly in pieces. :-) Thank you for reporting it!
