Build failed - "Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'appstream'"

Build failed with the error:

"Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'appstream': Cannot prepare internal mirrorlist: No URLs in mirrorlist"

I created a fix, but can't push the branch.
Is this repo locked?

Was asking if the repo is not maintained anymore because I wanted to create a PR to fix this.
