Game crashes out BIOS

The cutscene after the video tape in Lakeview Hotel just crashes my BIOS and i have to reset CMOS and install BIOS again, but if i skip the entire cutscene, the game proceeds without an issue, this is the only thing that seems to completely trash my BIOS, no other issues throughout the entire game, this is the only one and i have no idea how to fix it whatsoever, i tried changing game priority in task manager, same for cpu affinity

This is an incredibly odd issue that I don't necessarily think is directly caused by our project, but rather our project is bringing out a symptom of a larger issue. I'm not sure where to begin troubleshooting this.

You can look into seeing if there's an update for your BIOS and performing the update. Updating your BIOS can be an inherently risky thing to do, especially if you've never done it before. So if you decide to try and update it, please do your due diligence and heavily research all the steps and procedures needed to perform a safe update. And, of course, only download any files for such an update through your motherboard's official website.
