Cannot verify session in MacOS Sequoia 15.2

Steps to reproduce

1. Where are you starting? What can you see?

I see a red indicator on my messages in the desktop app that shows the sessions are not verified.

2. What do you click?

I got the privacy and security settings to do Cross Signing and I attempt to verify by both menthes

• uploading the keys (upload file - doesn't work, does not activate the Continue button).

When I copy the key and paste it in the field, the Continue button is activated but it keeps bringing me back to the same modal dialog to "verify...". I tried with opening the app on the phone and doesn't work

• it does not verify and keeps asking me to verify.

Outcome

What did you expect?

It's not clear what I should expect next but I want it to not have the red indicator that says it isn't verified session.

What happened instead?

It keeps asking me to verify over and over again even after I paste my key.
