If this would be possible that would be truly amazing.

This would require automatically adding a repository to APT and possibly RPM.

It wouldn't be entirely automatic, but it could be updated though the operation system's update manager.

@TheKodeToad Couldn't it also just download the .deb file (or whatever that distro uses) from the server?
