I have Sierra 10.12.2 and just started trying the wired controller; this has never worked for me up to this point. Should I open a new issue or stick with just my comment here?

As an aside, does the driver need to be signed in order to work?

Just a note, this driver (is it the same one?) and release is working fine for me on 10.12.x: https://github.com/360Controller/360Controller/releases/tag/v0.16.5
