Will look into this today. Are you on our mattermost channel? Curious to hear how you are using eic-spack. We are mainly using this to build the eic-shell containers, not necessarily in a direct user-facing role.

Thank you for yor message: my goal is to use Synrad package inside eic-shell environment. I checked request: synrad: new package #270 and this was the reason why I want to install eic-spack. If this is the wrong way to run synrad from eic-shell level please give me a support how should I run it properly.
Yes, I have registered to mattermost channel with no activity yet.
