Make public figures accountable about what they say. See which CMS is helpful (mezzanine or django-cms)

i was thinking about this for 2 reasons:

  • people forget
  • sometimes it's hard to get the whole picture about what happened/ing about certain issue

additions:
i think it should track events too

problems:
you need rules, for how to put what public figures say, i mean you could make mistakes like taking the words out of it's context, things like this
people have different views for the events, everyone will see the event with another way, which one you will choose?

maybe, this don't need programming at all

@mrwnmonm yes, this is the biggest problem. There are two ways to run it: it should be by invitations & add trusted people only. The other options is that news items can be submitted by anyone, but published only after approval

i like the second option
unfortunately i won't be able to work on it this days
but i really wish success for this project
