What license to add to this repo?

Any form of Creative Commons?

My vote would be for the MIT license:
It is short, to the point, and more permissive than GPL.... and it's already used in many open source projects.

Sorted of missed this. I would suggest CC-0 or a software license, because we don't wanna block people from integrating these snippets into programming code.
