It wasn't support that was available before today. :-P Note that this is going live right now: eclipse-oomph/oomph#134 (comment) So if you restart the IDE you should promoted for an upgrade the same as if you install this manually: https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/java-24-support-eclipse-2025-03-435 In general the latest released version of Java is supported/available immediately (maybe with a one day delay) via such a patch feature. |

Just downloaded JAVA JDK 24 and Eclipse 4.35
I can not upgrade Eclipse until I know that JAVA 24 is supported.
Please mention the supported JAVA levels in the documentation.
