Please mention the supported JAVA levels in "New and Noteworthy"

Just downloaded JAVA JDK 24 and Eclipse 4.35
I can not upgrade Eclipse until I know that JAVA 24 is supported.
Please mention the supported JAVA levels in the documentation.

It wasn't support that was available before today. :-P

Note that this is going live right now:

So if you restart the IDE you should promoted for an upgrade the same as if you install this manually:

In general the latest released version of Java is supported/available immediately (maybe with a one day delay) via such a patch feature.

Did that kick in for you after a restart? I tested locally this morning but it went live almost the same time you posted. I tested in some real IDEs I have installed and worked as expect...

I just installed 4.35 and it says JAVA 23 as highest level.
That's all I wanted to know in advance. I'm a patient developer, so I'll wait for 4.36

If you have just the Eclipse SDK, then no Oomp and no Marketplace.

But you can use Help -> Install New Software and use this site to update it to support Java 24:
