example.tasklist' not found after run modelserver-glspjava-emf-theia

after run modelserver-glspjava-emf-theia, i visit localhost:3000 and click example.tasklist, an error is reported in the background, I don't know why and I don't know how to fix it.

Sometimes it can happen if the model-server isn't fully initialized, the example file isn't properly registered, or there are configuration mismatches. Could you clarify a few things to help me narrow it down?

1. How did you start the backend? I.e., is the model server running too and without errors in the logs?
2. Have you tried opening other files, or is this issue specific to example.tasklist?

Thank you very much for receiving your reply.I clarified questions you asked.

1. I start the backend by using 'yarn start' command in the root directory, and no errors
   
2. I add a new flie 'example copy.tasklist' to the workspace and tested if the model server started successfully,the server seems work well but the model data returned is a bit strange when I get the model, not all of it is returned.
   
   
3. I tried to click on 'example copy.tasklist' on the browser, but it still reported an error

Thank you for your insights and investigations!
I had a quick look locally, and unfortunately, the issue was related to the GLSP server setup.

The error in the browser backend was unfortunately misleading. The server crashed while loading the model, due to some missing action handlers.
Upon closer inspection, I noticed that we were using a SNAPSHOT of the GLSP server instead of RC08, with which we implemented this example. Since this example is a bit older, the snapshot had been updated in the meantime.
I’ve pushed an update to master (see commit 3fee9e) using the fixed GLSP server version, and the example should now work as expected.

2. My project is structured as follows, I didn't find org.eclipse.emfcloud.modelserver.emf package
   
   Should I remove the model-server and then run emfcloud.modelserver independently?

Thanks for the update. Since the model can be fetched from the model server without issues, I suggest to move on and debug the model loading and identify if there are differences in the passed over modelUri.

Regarding the org.eclipse.emfcloud.modelserver.emf package, this is part of the dependencies in a standard Java project setup. If you haven't already, you should navigate through the dependencies in your project to locate it. Make sure you have the required Java tooling installed (e.g., you can use Project Manager for Java by Microsoft if you are using VS Code).

Thank for your advice, i will try.The reason I ran this template is: I'm new to GLSP, so I'd like to take a look at how GLSP and EMFcolud Server work together.
Now I'm confused about the relationship between gslp, gslp-client, gslp-server under the repository and client, glspserver, modelserver under the template project

The EMF cloud Model Server is primarily designed to manage multiple models for different editors, enabling concurrent access to those models. Regarding the project template you’re looking at currently - its main purpose is to provide a quick start for setting things up. However, be aware that the template isn’t fully up-to-date, especially regarding the versions used, as the project itself is in maintenance mode.

Depending on what you want to achieve - and if I understand correctly, your main goal is to get familiar with GLSP - it might be more beneficial to check out pure GLSP examples to get started. These examples offer multiple project templates for working with EMF models or simpler JSON-based models. You can find them here: https://github.com/eclipse-glsp/glsp-examples/tree/master

These examples also give you flexibility on the backend, allowing you to choose between a Java-based or Node.js-based server.
