Duplicate GlobalAssetIds in Package Explorer

Description
When two Asset Administration Shells (AASes) within a single AASX package utilize the same GlobalAssetId, a warning is displayed:
“It is not allowed to have duplicate GlobalAssetlds in the same file. This will break functionality and we strongly encoure to make the ld unique!”

Is it permissible for multiple Asset Administration Shells (AAS) to reference the same GlobalAssetId? If so, could you please elaborate on the rationale behind the existing restriction on duplicate GlobalAssetIds?
