novation zero slmlii write to patch issue

Send changes made on Button D tab doesn't seems to work at all
when i hit Midi>write to patch it says "template dump received+written" etc, but nothing is saved on that button row
The other tabs work perfectly and send the patch without issue
novation zero slmkii is running firmware version 1.3.14
edisyn Version 34
the midi controller is connected via din 5 on a behringer umc204hd
