Hello, @yinziiiiii,

I had no problem annotating your sequence. Here is the GFF3 output:

/public/home/wangyinzi/software/bio-software/interproscan-5.71-102.0/interproscan.sh: line 61: 52156 Killed

This line seems to indicate that the InterProScan process was killed by the operating system. This can happen when running computationally intensive programs on shared environments, like compute farms. If you're trying the run InterProScan on your institution's cluster, you most likely need to submit a job through a job scheduler (such as LSF, SLURM, etc.) to allocate resources.

$ ./interproscan.sh -i t.fa -appl Pfam,Gene3D,SUPERFAMILY,PRINTS,SMART,CDD,ProSiteProfiles -o output.tsv -f gff3

Available matches will be retrieved from the pre-calculated match lookup service.

Matches for any sequences that are not represented in the lookup service will be calculated locally.

The version of InterProScan you are using is 5.71-102.0
The version of the lookup service you are using is 5.72-103.0
As the data in these versions is not the same, you cannot use this match lookup service.
InterProScan will now run locally
If you would like to use the match lookup service, you have the following options:
i) Download the newest version of InterProScan5 from our FTP site by following the instructions on:
   https://www.ebi.ac.uk/interpro/interproscan.html
ii) Download the match lookup service for your version of InterProScan from our FTP site and install it locally.
You will then need to edit the following property in your configuration file to point to your local installation:
    precalculated.match.lookup.service.url=

In the meantime, the analysis will continue to run locally.

I don't think that is the full log.

But if you only have one sequence, or a limited number of sequences to analyze, it might be easier for you to use the InterPro website: https://www.ebi.ac.uk/interpro/search/sequence/
You can submit 100 sequences at a time, and download the results when they become available.

You may have forgotten to attach the file, or the file didn't reach GitHub. You may have to post directory on GitHub to attach files.
