now that we have a json_metadata for comments and posts ( issue #88 ) we could provide something. The "something" we have to define.. @brishtiteveja any idea? We could give away free dtc or vp but I dont know how to have a sustainable solution for that tbh

For this, can you think of an idea.. how you can track user engagement time (how long they are using the app.. for now, may be we can use a centralized transaction system.. we collect every day worth of user engagement time data (per user - number of hours spent, number of upvotes, number of comments, number of video page hops) as a json.. and then we post that json every day once on avalon blockchain with a special metadata.. based on user engagement, we can reward users. May need one special transaction on avalon.

Yeah tschnically we could measure the time they spend on the app. But I implemented a app specific tag for comments and uploads which could be enough for the beginning. I honestly don't wanna measure the time a user has spent on the app. They could just keep it open ^^ better indicators are amount of comments, uploads and perhaps votes if we can add a individual Metadata to the transaction

My questions was more how we could get the rewards to supply them. Do we wanna ask the leaders? Do we wanna ask heimin? Do we wanna ask onelovedtube?

Yeah, I think yes.. hopefully we will have the Governance proposal (https://github.com/dtube/governance) system. Where let's say, you and me together can propose that for reward/incentive, let's allocate xxx DTC. I am willing to even use my own DTC. And I hope other leaders can contribute to it. I mean, decision making and making everyone agree is always a lengthy process.

To make the things quicker, we could also start by collecting some dtc to a dedicated account and trust us both. We both would have the keys. I could easily code a bot distributing the coins to the users on a weekly basis and run that on my api node. Or you do it.

I personally would be open to put 1k dtc in that account. If you do the same we will have more than enough to motivate users to engage.

I would suggest 0.1 DTC for a comment and 0.5 dtc for a video posted with the app and 1 dtc for a video posted onto ipfs via the app. Also we should have a guideline (users who use others peoples content will get disqualified. Perhaps only distribute to original dtubers or smth like that). What do you think?

Yeah, I will be down. :) The thing though we need to probably discuss.. is the bot attack. What if nannal bots targets this..! So, we need a little bit of captcha thingy that I earlier talked about in discord.
