No where on the site do we have the actual logo. I like the picture of the buttons as a subtle way to make it prominent on the first page but we should have the actual logo somewhere. Maybe all the way up next to "UF DSI Home" ?

favico is needed too.

…age, need another. Added favicon.ico which won't show up until the site is served under the final URL. Updates #10

Saw the logo is in the top left corner currently, but the "UFDSI" text disappears.

Possible explanation:

  1. Transparency of logo. The corner looks faded.
  2. Font size issue.
  3. The font isn't bold.

Where could we get the logo design template?

There is a DSI logo with white text in the shared drive that can be resized to 50x50 px

I tried the original DSI logo with white text, can barely see the text.
So I made "UF DSI" bold and deleted the "data science & informatics" to leave more room.
It seems that I can tell what's on the logo, finally.
What do you think? The original white one is in /img folder, you can try it, too.

I see. When shrunk down that small, there is little hope of being able to read that text. Let's get Gordon/Ana/ others to look at it and suggest what we should do about where the logo should go.
