Decide on the times we most need moderation, and make sure the channel is staffed. Use a G-cal for this, if that's amenable? Or a scheduling tool that everyone can contribute to?

I like the idea of a Google Calendar because even when I'm not on duty, I might like to know who is on at any given time (like if things are happening).

Hey folks - I found this tool that seems really easy for scheduling. Please have a look. we aren't locked into it, but it's far easier than a doodle and requires less setup (no invites, etc) than a GCal.

All you have to do is click on an event, enter your name and email to sign up. To keep track of which events have signups, please also move the event to the "Covered Time Slots" Calendar before saving. (Also make sure to save only that event!)

Let me know what you think about this tool, maybe we can try it out for a bit.
