I inherited a project that uses socket.io version 1.2.0 and it seems when npm install is run it tries to fetch xmlhttprequest@https://github.com/LearnBoost/node-XMLHttpRequest/archive/0f36d0b5ebc03d85f860d42a64ae9791e1daa433.tar.gz but I receive 401 Unauthorized.
So I follow these instructions to no avail: https://help.github.com/en/articles/configuring-npm-for-use-with-github-package-registry#installing-a-package
Any ideas?
