in modern linux headers, unnamed union is used, for example in bits/pthreadtypes.h:

    unsigned int __nusers;
    __extension__ union
    {
      int __spins;
      __pthread_slist_t __list;
    };

when this header is included, lcc will error out:

/usr/include/bits/pthreadtypes.h:99: field name missing
