Crikey is awesome, I really like it. And it'll be great to be able to use zippers for this sort of thing.
But one thing, have you thought about how to handle DOCTYPEs? It would be good to be able to get Crikey to generate HTML5.
Another aspect of HTML5 is that some elements, void elements, don't have close tags (http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/syntax.html#void-elements). If I was generating HTML5 then Crikey would have to recognize them and generate them differently.
I might have a go at this if you haven't had thoughts already?
