Describe the bug
Opening a new tab in a snapped GNOME Terminal, either by clicking the new tab button or using the keyboard shortcut, causes the terminal window to become unsnapped and move to a weird position between two displays.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Open a new GNOME Terminal window (do not open additional tabs yet).
Snap the window to any available tile.
Open a new tab by clicking the new tab button or using the keyboard shortcut Shift+Ctrl+T.
The GNOME Terminal window will become unsnapped from the tile.

Hello, thank you for reporting this. Unfortunately anything can be done to fix this. Other window manager and tiling extensions are having the same issue too
