Tell us about your request
Add further customization by supporting dotfiles repositories from GitHub, gitlab, etc.

Which service(s) is this request for?
Dev Environments

Tell us about the problem you're trying to solve. What are you trying to do, and why is it hard?
When I spin up a new Dev Environment container, it's quite bare-bones. It's missing tooling and configurations that I use everywhere. This is a solved issue for other dev container environments by using dotfiles repositories that contain an install.sh file that will customize the dev environment container.
This would be a killer feature for Dev Environments.

Are you currently working around the issue?
Manually installing dotfile manager of choice (chezmoi) and running it.
