In Chrome 98, none of the events seem to perform an action, there is no error nor an exception thrown.

In Chrome 97 everything is fine.

I'm using Chrome 98 and at least realHover() works fine.

What can I possibly do wrong 😟
I literally run Cypress on Chrome 97 and all tests pass, while running them on 98 does not.
They pass on Electron as well.

An example can be realHover - on 97 I can see my popover that's being triggered but on 98 I don't.

Maybe something related to watch mode?

Can you create a reproduction in separate repo which shows this behavior

okay, it's not Chrome entirely but looks more related to this #10
Still checking on what's different between Electorn and Chrome in that matter.
