to Replace the floor plan

I have take wifi finger print on one floor plan.. if i want to change the floorplan then wifi fingerprint will stay there or deleted ? please help

Hello @harshitlalpura,

A Wi-Fi fingerprint measurement is associated with a specific building id, floor number, latitude and longitude, therefore if you change or re-adjust the floor plan of a floor, the measurements will still be associated with that floor. However, they will probably not match the physical space as depicted in the new version of the floor plan.

Since there is no GUI for erasing Wi-Fi fingerprints yet, If you wish to erase the Wi-Fi fingerprints associated with the floor you wish to change, you have the following options:

1. If the building is not mapped heavily in terms of POIs and floor plans, You can re-create the building using the export/import feature. The new building will not have any Wi-Fi fingerprints until you start recording on the floors again.
2. If deleting and redoing the building using the import feature is not an option in your case, e-mail us at [email protected] with details regarding the building & floor and we can remove the undesired Wi-Fi fingerprints for you.
