Bundled server needs a bit more beefing up

The bundled server need to be run in a more fault tolerant way and also such that it can use multiple cores. Basically it needs to be set up to run in a more production-worth way.

I could just give the user the flexibility to run it using spark and upstart or something like that. But I'd rather just make it rock solid out-of-the-box.
