I see you have .like and .unlike methods, but is the bigger difference really more about syntactic/semantic sugar? Why not merge this into the mongoid-voteable gem to give .like and .unlike capabilities?

Good call.

Actually I don't remember the exact reason behind mongoid likeable. I suppose we just wanted to create our own gem and experiment with rubygems.
