I'm wondering if it would be possible to install container signatures using the same feature as binary signatures. There is an error message when trying to install container signatures.
This would be useful for users but also would prevent confusion about why it works for binary signatures and not container signatures. I think this functionality is also not available on the command line?
The guidance (screenshot below) does state that currently the install signature functionality does not support the installation of container signatures. This is the same line in the guidance of much older versions of DROID from 2013 and I wanted to raise the issue so that it was on the radar.
