We received this letter around Jan/2023 from Dialogflow team;
We’re writing to remind you that on January 31, 2023 we’ll remove a permission included in the IAM Viewer role to help improve security
What do I need to know?
In Dialogflow, the IAM Viewer role currently allows users of the console simulator to test agent conversations and to call the API's detectIntent/streamingDetectIntent methods.Starting January 31, 2023, Google will remove this permission from this role. Therefore these actions will require the ‘dialogflow.sessions.detectIntent' or ‘dialogflow.sessions.streamingDetectIntent' permission, which is included in roles such as the IAM Dialogflow API Client role (ES documentation, CX documentation) or the agent specific Dialogflow API Client role (documentation).
What do I need to do?
Some users and service accounts with IAM Viewer role must update roles granted to them to include a role with this permission. Once updated, they’ll be able to use the simulator or make API calls.
