Thank you for providing feedback. For me to be able to address your issue, I need detailed information. Below is what I request and an example.

Needed Information
Your setup

1. Full description of your computer and operating system.
2. What version of Kinect v2 drivers (or SDK) you have installed.
3. What version of Max you have installed and if it is registered.
4. What version of the dp.kinect2 external you are using.

Steps to reproduce your issue

1. Detail every step needed to create your issue.
2. If your issue was discovered in Max with a patch, please save a small patch that demonstrates the problem. Save it on the internet and provide a link to it.
3. List every patch opened, button clicked, menu chosen, option selected, etc.
4. Turn on the attribute @verbose=1 to receive additional debug information.
5. Detail what was the bad result and what is the expected good behavior
6. In the Max console window, copy the first group of messages from dp.kinect2 which provide version information and settings. Also include any later diagnostic/error messages you find; they will be in yellow or red color.

Setup
Clevo P150em laptop with 16 GB RAM, 500GB SSD drive, Intel i7-3720QM cpu
Windows 8.1 x64 with all current updates
Installed Kinect 2.0 Public Preview SDK
Installed Max 6.1.7 x64 and it is registered
Using dp.kinect2 version 1.0.1

Steps

1. Download this patch http://example.com/mypatch.zip
2. Unzip and save the patch to a directory
3. Open mydemopatch patch
4. Click the green button

Result:
No depth matrix is output and there is an error in the Max window "Error 4123"

Expected:
A depth matrix to be output
