Yes, the BNO055 has a calibration procedure in the docs. This library has not implemented it but feel free to submit a pull request.
I haven't maintained this since I think a lot of people have moved to ROS2 by now and this probably needs to be rewritten for ROS2.

Is there a way to calibrate the IMU? I believe this is important to give reasonable values for custom platform setup.
