Camera (ring doorbell 3 ) no longer streaming. Still getting live stills though

Keep getting error with homebridge-ring v9.18.6

At the second to last line in the log it sits trying to stream for about 20 seconds before stopping with homekit saying there was no response from the camera.

however, it is still updating the still image every few seconds on preview. just no live feed when tapping the camera.

no other errors being reported by the plugin or camera FFMPEG plugin

9.19 has not resolved this issue..
although getting new errors now..

Is your homebridge server on the same network as the device you are trying to stream to? If not, you need to at least have your Home Hub (apple TV, HomePod) on the same network as your homebridge server

hi, i am new to all of it....manged in 2 hours to do it...:) i would love to know where can i see my video's from motion detected...everything is working....i installed hombridge on win10/node js.... installed ring and can see it in my homebridge/accessories
i also add it to home app on my iphone but i can see only live stream.... i want to know how to see the saved motion videos

Saved videos can only be viewed if you have subscribed to a plan with Ring as far as i know. And they are only available via the Ring App. I do not believe homekit saves any video streams from any camera's. Even Eufy camerera's, Can not access and saved videos within HomeKit (and they are HomeKit certified) only way to view Eufy fottage is logging in via the Eufy app (but at least with Eufy no subscription is needed as the video footage is saved locally on the Eufy homebase)

I am out of idea's too. Nothing has changed on my network save for installing the HomeBridge.io on a new RPi 4b 4mb 64gig. And that was a little quirky as the RPi4 wanted to use the USB network adaptor as Eth1 and the internal network adapter as eth2: strange also the homebridge IP address as changed. (seams the Rpi 4 was ignoring the assigned IP by the DHCP servers reserved MAC assignments. Other than the new Pi, and the change in network cards and IP address everything is the same. No re-configuring done in the router, i can view the camera from within the network using the ring App, just not HomeKit. I can view the footage from outside my network within Homekit just fine.

Does the Plugin use any cached protocols when streaming internally? I.E is it possibly the ring plugin thinks its still trying to stream to old Homebridge IP? If so then why is external working? Would it still have to pass through HomeBridge.io to stream over internet within HomeKit?

This ring doorbell is really starting to annoy me.. Think i may have to ditch it and get a Eufy doorbell instead.

I think this is a clue as to why it is failing to stream video locally over LAN/Wi-Fi

Nope got overly excited , seems it working before was a glitch :/ back to no response again... :(

Hmm Think i will try the Ring Add on for HASS.io.. see if that works. I have HASS and HomeBridge on the same network as HASS primarily controls my HVAC and reports the statuses of Solar panels (envoy) and Tesla Powerwall2.
