Can users migrate be migrated to other backends?

Hey, we have a Samba AD running, and I need OIDC, so I am looking into Dex. Thing is that hopefully in a few years, we need Samba no more. I'd hate to then have to keep the complexity of Active Directory around just because my users are using it via Dex.

Thus my question: can I later replace the backend with something else, and my users can still use all the resources they used Dex OIDC to auth into?
