While EasyEDA is a wonderful and easy to use tool, it is unfortunately not open source and in some aspects quite limited. To not limit this project by the abilities of EasyEDA and to not depend on closed source software it makes sense to port the design files to KiCAD. The ability to easily produce this design via JLCPCB should be kept, so a useful integration between KiCAD and the JLCPCB libraries and processes is necessary.
