MX or NS records #141
Comments
MX records will probably never be supported because of the possibility of abuse and spam-mails. You usually require additional DNS records to verify your mail anyways. NS records I don't know and will have to think about. |
ns means you can set own name server and then you can manage the records yourself on your DNS hosting provider, like people could add their subdomains on cloudflare or clodns and manage the records themselves for their subdomains |
Hmm yes, while i see why it would be nice and agree it really feels like it would be something way too easy to abuse... |
atleast make exception for me, you can regularly check my domain for abuse. I wont abuse it |
I understand, and by the looks of it you seem legit but it entails a whole bunch of extra work for me which I currently can't really do... The mod.land project is in need of some maintaining and a rewrite in deno. I also need to communicate with the somewhat busy co-owner of denosaurs to fix some access issues to our cloudflare account. It could probably be done, but while I am on vacation it will be difficult so for the time being NS records are currently a no from me. |
Ok, once its possible, please let me know. Thanks |
Can you add support for MX records so users can also use it for emails. NS records would be good so you don't need to wait for PR approve when you want to change DNS records for your subdomain
