There will occasionally be items in the MRS test suite which it is not possible to translate into some language (see e.g. this discussion about Spanish).
The question is, how to correctly handle such items? Removing them doesn't seem like a good idea because that would break the parallelism between the MRS test suites? Therefore, they should somehow... remain there in English but be ignored? That's what the Spanish MRS test suite has currently.
Is there a proper way to mark an item in a test suite so that it is safely ignored? Ideally such that it is then possible to not break fftb treebank update?
