Work like supernote's erase gesture #527
Comments
Oh wow, now I want this feature so badly. 😵💫 |
I would recommend putting in a feature request to reMarkable themselves. This might not be easy to add here. |
The official system is too much weak in A LOT of features for reading & writing. In my workflow the remarkable tablet is quite useless without this ddva hacks. The official software does not even has a contents(in sidebar) of PDF & ePub books. I wonder if they are still working on adding more features to their system. |
I also want this feature. I've submitted a feature request from my perspective. Feature Request Form: Here's the content of my request: Subject: Proposal for Gesture-based Switching between Writing and Eraser Tools Description: Use Case: Benefits of this Feature:
Remarks: |
The following is true only if you use the remarkable-stylus hack, also from ddvk: As this wasn't mentioned before I might add that using a pen with a button like the Lamy EMR will give you the possibility to use the lasso erase feature by simply pressing the button (which sits under the Remarkable stylus hack: https://github.com/ddvk/remarkable-stylus Edit: Apparently this project also enables the button feature and doesn't depend on remarkable-hacks: https://github.com/mb1986/rm-hacks It's been developed alongside the discussion in #496 |
Thanks for the introduction to remarkable-stylus hack. There is one thing I would like to know. I do not have a Lamy EMR pen and am not familiar with it, so I would like to consider which Lamy EMR pen to buy. |
@yyamagit rm1 and Lamy Al-star work fine together for me. As the ddvk rm-hacks are still on firmware 2.x you'd need to use the stylus-hacks together with the mb1986 hacks on firmware 3, which is my current setup, that's working perfectly well. |
I wonder if it is posible to trigger the eraser like supernote does:
If you also need this feature, you can also submit a request to the official wish list, like @yyamagit does:
