Sourcing from multiple Github-hosted data packages #970
-
Hello, I've looked at the Frictionless Data example which focuses on a single local dataset. And the Github based examples, which can load data from multiple repo. But it's not clear to me if there is a baked-in functionality for PortalJS to load data from multiple data packages across multiple Github repo/accounts. Is there a baked in/documented solution or should I build upon an existing example? Looking for pointers. Thanks |

If you check the github-backed-catalog example you will see that we show 5 datasets, from 4 repos, so you can mix and match any kinds of combinations between files in repos, branches in repos and repos themselves. You could show a dataset that displays a subset of a repo, another dataset that displays another subset, a completly different dataset fetching from another branch so on and so forth. |
