Support for non-latin characters in user display names

I've noticed people on the demo deployment signing up with names that we cannot render. I'm not sure how much of this is my browser/font set up, but the API seems fully able to handle their name, so we should make the UI do the same. I assume this amounts to setting some fallback font?
