@westonstearns:

Anna from Kaggle has been reaching out to me on these courses. Seems they are evaluating their partnerships. Could you (or someone in the team) do the following somewhere next week and let me know (I need to get back to her):

  • All links to Kaggle from within this python course (+ the email) need to have a google UTM tracking. Like this: https://www.kaggle.com/?utm_medium=partner&utm_source=datacamp.com&utm_campaign=datacamp+python (currently I think they are just a version of kaggle.com
  • We need to add a link (similarly to above) on the course page. https://www.datacamp.com/community/open-courses/kaggle-python-tutorial-on-machine-learning (the word Kaggle is in the first sentence, would just replace that.)

Thanks!

@martijnsublime I changed the utm parameters to all links in these courses and added a link in each of the course landing pages:

https://www.datacamp.com/community/open-courses/kaggle-python-tutorial-on-machine-learning
https://www.datacamp.com/community/open-courses/kaggle-r-tutorial-on-machine-learning

I am working on adding links to the previous blog posts as well even though they don't get much traffic. Also checking on the email situation. I don't think we are sending custom course completion emails anymore that contain links.
