Not able to delete RAG-Files from GUI #3894

Hello everyone, Unfortunately I have a problem. My GUI displays files that I have uploaded. It is not possible to delete them. I select them using the GUI and press delete. They then disappear from the GUI, but reappear after reloading the page. In the RAG logs I get: 2024-09-02 10:27:08,320 - root - INFO - Request DELETE http://rag_api:8000/documents - 500 
And the Librechat logs say: 24-09-02T10:27:07.895Z error: Error deleting file ENOENT: no such file or directory, unlink '/app/client/public/images/6628dbd7991596ce9505d0b8/img-18b2408c-bec6-45d0-a547-02c7e638... [truncated] Please help, how can I fix this? |

Hi this is a known issue since the there is some syncing issue with the vector database. In my opinion, it may be better to delete the file on LibreChat side even if it fails on the rag api side (likely the file's vectors truly doesn't exist anymore for whatever reason). |
