Moment.js vs Day.js

Moment.js now considers itself in maintenance mode and suggests that projects use other date library alternatives for the future. What are the thoughts on switching to Day.js?

I would be excited about the switch because my personal use case has a need to reduce package size and Moment.js is considered slightly bigger size wise that Day.js.

After quickly looking through the library, it doesn't seem like an out of the world possibility. If I were to do the work to make the switch, would it be something that would be a good consideration for incorporating into the project?

Consider this project in maintenance mode just like moment.js. It's a perfect match.
