Pipeline 2 v1.14.14 released

Dear all,

Version 1.14.14 of DAISY Pipeline 2 is now available for download! The following alternative packages are proposed:

• for Windows users: the desktop app installer (exe file, 124 MB)
• for Mac OS X users: the desktop app installer (dmg file, 167 MB)
• for Debian/Ubuntu users: the Debian package (58 MB)
• for other Linux users: the zip package (66 MB)

This release features a simplified and improved script & job API, improved NIMAS support, support for the "Z39.86-2002" version of DAISY 3, support for DAISY 3 with non-standard audio file formats, and various other improvements and bug fixes. Please refer to the full release notes.

Please also note that a maintenance release of the Pipeline 1 core has been made. It includes the following improvements:

• Compatibility with Java 11
• A fix for the Log4j security vulnerability
• A fix for an audio speed issue
• An updated SAPI bridge, built using a newer version of the com4j toolset
• A newer version of the icu4j library
