About this project

My name is Damon (@dacort) and, while I work at AWS, I've always been a fan of Athena and have built several different personal projects for it in my spare time. When Athena Federation was released, I was very excited and immediately sat down to write a SQLite connector for Athena. But I wanted to use Python as that's my day-to-day.

Fast-forward a couple years and I'm happy to announce this project, which allows you to easily build Athena Data Source Connectors using Python.
