Thank you @ShuffleWire for your prompt response. I have reformated the post. Yes, it was confusing. Appologies for missing it. I have tried running very basic file with simple drone (Tutorial) on SLURM based HPC and the behavior was same. The drone was not able to detect the surface and just kept falling down. I have also tried using 2023b version and also 2023a, 2022b, 2022a and so on. This is consistent. If you can help me, I would be really grateful to you. |

AFAIK, the Floor is not loaded at all by Webots, due to the error So we need to fix it first. Consider that if any loading fail, you won't be able to do anything usefull ! |

The useful test to make is to remove all script from PROTO node to see if it improve the situation, at least at loading time. At this point, your should not have any script in those object, upload that to the HPC and see if the situation improve. I hope I'm clear xD let's me know of any issue. Could you also share the EXACT world that is causing you trouble ? |

supervisor_world.wbt.txt Thank you so much for your detailed response. I have tried putting all the PROTOS locally. Unfortunately, there was no difference in the error I was receiving. I have copied the error here: I have attached my .wbt file with extension .txt as it was not possible for me to add it without it. Could you please take a look? I am stuck in this problem for a long period of time and it is a critical step in my simulation. I am more than happy to compensate for your kind efforts. Ok, in this situation you need to reduce the number of stuff you are testing and invoking. Your world trigger many time the same king of error, so it make kind of a mess. Using this project : test_proto.zip So what I want is :
You should get something like : If it doesn't work, try to change in the wbt AND the proto file the first line to match the version of Webots you are actually using. Also in the wbt you are sending me the version is Webots 2022a, which is both old, and not matching with your setup, it seems. Be careful when working with different version of Webots, the world file and PROTO are not always compatible. |
