Internal or built-in attributes have a $ prepended to them. This is mostly for internal platform reasons, and mostly servers as a nuisance for people exporting data and using those attributes as either column headers, or in other follow on analysis.

Suggestion - Similar to the UI, removing the leading $ from column names when writing to csv when using "Download Metadata" workflow.
