What happened?

Hi,

I've got 6 Xiaomi LYWSD03MMC temperature and humidity devices;
Some with stock firmware, and some with ATC firmware.
Using a USBA-BLUETOOTH-V5-C2 Startech Bluetooth Dongle pluged in my DELL optiflex 7040 USFF runing ProxMox 8.3.1 and forwarded to Home Assistant VM by USB DeviceId method.

All was working like a charm from more than one year.
I previously used an esp with esphome to link them to HA, but I now really prefer the passive ble method.

But yesterday, all the sensors of the LYWSD03MMC reported unknow or Nan.
Just after updated from 13.0.0 to 13.0.3

I just use a backup to downgraded to 13.0.3 and the problem disapear.

Do you have an idea ?

It anoying because this sensors are the base of all my termostat setup.

Best regards.

Hi,

I just updated to 13.0.3 from the backup I downgraded to and I've got my LYWSD03MMC sensors back.

I don't understand why this has bugged yesterday.
I've seen another closed issue of the same porblem where the person have resolved it by restarting his server, but In my case even after a total shutdown an restart, the problem was still there.

Anyway everything is ok for me now so I close the issue.

I'm sorry for the trouble.

No problem. Glad it is solved automagically. Bluetooth can sometimes be a bit buggy. LYWSD03MMC is also quite slow with stock firmware, so it can take up to 20 minutes after a restart to show up again.
