If Parchment is loaded in an iframe then it should display a "play this" message instead of starting automatically.

I want to show it before it starts loading. I'd also like to show a cover image.

Ideally with a progress meter

A progress indicator has been added! 🎉

But see this topic for some pushback on the idea of a play button: https://intfiction.org/t/should-parchment-autoplay-or-have-a-play-button/66685

This will now be an option, allowing people to manually change it. By default we'll autoplay unless:

  1. The file's download size is >10MB (Don't autoplay/download large storyfiles #65)
  2. The game plays sounds before user events
  3. Parchment is loaded in an iframe
